Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous meets at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist on Thursday evenings at 8 pm. Contact Rev. Sue Poulin at 522-3329 for more information.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon Family Group Meeting meets on Thursday nights from 8-9:00pm at the Sanborville United Methodist Church on Meadow Street in Sanbornville, NH.
Families Matter
Families Matter is a Family Resource Center working to strengthen families and communities within Carroll County. Families are welcome to call or stop by the agency Monday-Friday 9:00-4:00, or by appointment, to access programs and services such as ongoing parenting classes, support and information, advocacy, and a Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group. Families are also welcome to join their community parent/child playgroups in Center Ossipee and Moultonboro. The agency offers a lending library of books, videos, brochures and information on child development and family issues and provides referrals to community agencies and services. The agency also provides Child Care Resource and Referral services for families and Recruitment and Training services for child care providers. Tri-County Community Action Center of Carroll County
Tri-County Community Action Center of Carroll County provides community contact, information, referral, follow-up and coordination between residents of Carroll County and local, state and national programs and human service agencies. They can provide referrals for adult and elderly services, aid to families with dependent children, alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs, Alcoholics Anonymous, child protective services, clothing assistance, day care programs, domestic violence programs, emergency shelter, food stamps, Headstart, home health care, legal and tax assistance, Medicaid and Medicare, Social Security and SSI, services for the disabled, veterans services, and much more.
