Children’s Corner
Children are among our most important parishioner’s at St. John’s. They play an important part in our church life and in our service. The Third Sunday of each month is Children’s Sunday when we have a special children’s sermon (also enjoyed by the adults!), a performance by the Children’s Choir and the children read the lessons. We welcome all children to our services, even infants. In fact, the Lamb’s Corner, a row of rocking chairs with stuffed toys, is our special place for infants and their moms.
During the school year, the younger children attend their own service at 10:00 in the Children’s Chapel in the Parish Center, after which they have their Sunday School Classes. All the children are brought over to the church during the announcements time so that they can take communion with their families.

Sunday School Programs
The Sunday School Program is a special curriculum covering the favorite Bible stories and teachings of the church. Children do activities to teach the lessons and make it fun at the same time. Sunday School is in session from September through May. Contact Sandy Thomas at 859-4986 for more information.
Youth Group
The Youth Group, for children from the ages of 12-18, provides social, educational and service activities for the youth of the parish. Contact the Rev. Sue Poulin at (603) 522-3329 or click here to reach by email.
Community Day School
The Community Day School is a child care center providing day care, preschool and before/after school care for infants, toddlers and school age children. The hours are 6 AM to 6 PM and full time, part time or drop in care is provided. More information is available at www.stjohnscds.com.
Wednesday Church School
Wednesday Church School is a mid-week church school program on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM primarily for the children of St. John’s Community Day School. However, children from the community or the parish are welcome as well.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is an ecumenical program provided by the churches of Wakefield. Click here for information on last summer's Vacation Bible School program.
Kids Ranch
Come to the Kids Ranch where you get fun and games for kids and where they can learn about Christianity while they play!
